Christmas in July Sale - 2019

It’s that time of year to celebrate Christmas in July! I absolutely love the Christmas season so I have no problem watching Christmas music and listening to Christmas music this week.

Take this time to get an early start on your Christmas card shopping and gift buying this year. The sale ends this tomorrow. Here are a few things to know:

  • Products on sale are marked down.

  • The Christmas products have a HUGE discount.

  • Mystery boxes are available during this time (you will have a vague idea of what you will get in the box. i.e.: a set of birthday cards, a tote, an art print, and a notepad.) There will be a few listings of different offerings for each mystery box, so please read carefully and reach out if you have questions.

  • Once you receive your products, please remember to share photos of you opening your package a new products by tagging me with #aquaopalstudio and/or @aquaopalstudio. Seeing you unveil your products makes me day :)

  • Please reach out if you have any questions.

Summer Birthday Cards Launch 2019

It’s been about two months now since I last released new products. I created these designs in the winter when I was working on handmade birthday cards for my grandmothers as Christmas presents. I like how fun they are and are a way to celebrate those summer birthdays. They also make good cards to send “just because” you are thinking of someone or congratulating someone.

Meal Prepping as of June 2019

Now that I am back to work with a full-time job, I have started to prep my breakfasts and lunches the night before. I have found this so much easier instead of trying to do it the morning of when I am still half awake before drinking my cup of coffee. It does take some planning but it is work the effort.

One thing I like doing is putting together a list of what I need to buy for breakfast and lunch for the week. I write out what I would like for lunches during the week so I can switch it up. This way I don’t have to run to the store during the week. I do like going later in the afternoon closer to dinner time so the store is less crowded.

Here is what I have been having for my breakfasts and lunches so far:

Breakfast

I have been having two scrambled eggs with two breakfast sausages and some shredded cheese. I prep this the night before in a container so I just have to dump it in a frying pan in the morning. I also have either peach or strawberry yogurt and a cup of coffee (the only one for the day).

The 2 eggs, shredded cheese, and 2 sausages are prepped the night before in a container and then dumped in a frying pan.

Lunches

For lunch I try to change it up so I don’t get bored with what I am having. Some examples are:

  • Ham and cracker sandwiches, Babybel cheese, snow peas, apple slices, and a chocolate square.

  • Tortilla ham wrap, Babybel cheese, carrots, apple slices, and a chocolate square.

  • Babybel cheese, cucumbers, apple slices, pretzels, peanut butter (as a dip), and a chocolate square.

  • Peanut butter cracker sandwiches, snow peas, apple slices, Skinny Pop Popcorn, and a chocolate square.

I know people meal prep for the whole week, but it just doesn’t work with the refrigerator space I have. I mostly wanted to share this too because some of you might feel left out that you can only do a small prep, but it works none the less.
